With the occasion of the recent appointment of Roberto Díaz as the new President and Director of The Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, and to celebrate the Spring season with the sybaritic flavors of Chile, the celebrated violist of the Philadelphia Orchestra will play for the first time in Washington with his wife, renowned violist Elissa Koljonen.

The artists will perform E.A. Ysaye’s Solo Sonata for Violin; W.A. Mozart’s duo for Viola and Violin; P. Hindemith’s Viola Sonata, and Handel/Halverson: “Passacaglia” for Viola and Violin.
Along with the music, the Chilean Ambassador will offer a tasting of the best of traditional and new Chilean cuisine, as well as the opportunity to taste very selected premium wines.
