Chile Sponsors the Annual Virginia Hispanic Chamber Of Commerce Gala Richmond

On April 15th , 2008 Chile sponsored the 5th Annual Virginia Hispanic Chamber Of Commerce Gala held at the Richmond Sciences Museum, one of the most recognized Hispanic events of the year for business and political leaders.

More than 500 attendees to the Gala had the opportunity to enjoy Chilean wines provided by the Embassy of Chile from a selection of outstanding Chilean vineyards as Casa Lapostolle, Santa Carolina, Cono Sur, VIU Manent, Santa Rita and VIA. At the VIP reception Chile also offered the traditional pisco sour drink, which was most appreciated by the audience.

For the last five years The Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (VHCC) has organized this Gala event to gather business and political leaders in the mission to build economic, social, and cultural bridges between the Hispanic community and the community at large.

This event feature the former President of Mexico Vicente Fox, who receive the 2008 “Bridge Builder” Award; the Governor of Virginia Tim Kaine and the Ambassador of Chile, Mr. Mariano Fernández among other distinguished representatives of Virginia companies, agencies and services.
