Please, find below the requirements to apply to a temporary resident visa. You must submit your application and supporting documents in person.

The Consulate’s working hours are Monday through Friday from 08:30 am to 13:30 pm.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA

 

v      Valid passport

 

v      Health certificate issued by a doctor stating that the applicant enjoys good health and has no communicable disease.

 

v      The applicant also has to include a blood test of HIV/HTLV issued by a Health Department, Laboratory, or private doctor.

 

v      Police Certificate issued by the Federal authorities stating that the applicant has no criminal records nationwide. FBI background check.

 

v      Four (4) passport photographs professionally done 2x2 (color or black and white).

v     The Reciprocity Fee (US$131) must be paid at the Consulate when the Visa is issued. The Visa  is free of charge.

v      Proof of financial security (bank statements).

 

v      In the event the applicant is married to a Chilean national, proof of marriage must be presented.

 

v      Personal letter explaining reasons why applicant wants to go to Chile.

 

v      Application form(s). Please typed and all caps.

 

v      (MEDICAL CERTIFICATE AND POLICE RECORD SHOULD BE RECENT, 30 DAYS AT THE MOST)
