Tuesday, June 6-6:30 pm at the IDB Cultural Center "THE LOST RECORDING OF PABLO NERUDA" In June 1966 Chilean poet and future Nobel Laureate Pablo Neruda was invited by the Inter-American Development Bank to give a poetry recital, which was held at the Mayflower Hotel. Through an unusual series of coincidences, this reel-to-reel hour-long recording of Neruda's recital of 15 poems came to light recently and will be played for the public for the first time in forty years.
